Description

• Designed and 3D printed parts for prototyping, mechanical testing, pre-clinical studies, and human factor studies including syringe collars used in pre-clinical trials.

• Led model tumor injection experimentation to determine best needle gauge, angle, and velocity to minimize insertion force and maximize dose retention.

• Conducted syringe volume accuracy testing to ensure drug delivery for application to surface tumor drug injections.

• Researched technologies including 3D scanner and CAD software to purchase to meet device development department project needs.
